RideGrade is built local-first: the app is designed to keep your data on your device, and this website is designed to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the ridegrade.app website and the Driver Beta program. The RideGrade Android app has its own in-app data controls (you can review, export, or delete app data on your device at any time).
What we collect on this website
- Beta application form — if you apply for the Driver Beta, we receive the information you type: your name, email address, city and state, Android device model, the apps you drive with, and your driver type. We use it only to run the beta: contacting you about access, support, and beta updates.
- Newsletter form — if you subscribe, we receive your email address and use it only to send Driver Beta updates.
- Nothing else. This site sets no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies. It loads no third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own site.
- Local storage — the site may keep a draft of your beta application in your own browser's local storage so you don't lose it. That data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us until you submit.
How form data is processed
Form submissions are processed by our hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) as our data processor and delivered to us. Email you send to beta@ridegrade.app is delivered through our domain’s email forwarding. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
About the RideGrade app
The app reads supported offer screens on your device to show you a readout. App data — offers seen, your decisions, mileage, cost inputs — stays on your device by default. You can export or delete it from the app at any time. The app never accepts, declines, or dispatches offers for you.
Your choices
- Ask us to delete your beta application or unsubscribe you at any time: beta@ridegrade.app
- Unsubscribe links are included in update emails.
- You can clear the site's local storage from your browser settings.
Data retention
We keep beta applications for the duration of the beta program plus 90 days, then delete them. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Children
RideGrade is for drivers and requires you to be old enough to hold a rideshare/delivery account (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. Material changes will be noted in beta update emails.
