RideGrade Terms of Use

The plain-language rules for using the RideGrade website and Android app.

Effective date: pending

These terms cover the ridegrade.app website and the RideGrade Android app. RideGrade shows you information about an offer; every decision stays yours.

1. What RideGrade is — and is not

RideGrade is an assistive readout for rideshare and delivery offers. It shows you information; it does not act for you. RideGrade never accepts, declines, taps, or dispatches offers, and it does not modify, automate, or interfere with Uber, DoorDash, or any other app. You make every decision.

2. Estimates, not promises

Everything RideGrade shows — per-mile rates, per-minute rates, net estimates, cost estimates, confidence levels — is an estimate based on the data available to it and the inputs you provide. Estimates can be wrong. RideGrade makes no guarantee of earnings, savings, or outcomes of any kind. When RideGrade lacks enough data to score an offer, it says so rather than guessing.

3. The software

The RideGrade app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change, break, or be removed. Offer-screen reading for supported apps is under active validation and may be unavailable or inaccurate.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Drive safely and follow all traffic laws. Do not interact with RideGrade while your vehicle is in motion except as permitted by law (glanceable information is designed for stopped review).
  • Comply with the terms of the platforms you drive for. You are responsible for ensuring your use of RideGrade is consistent with your agreements with those platforms.
  • Provide accurate information when you contact support.

5. Not affiliated

RideGrade is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Uber Technologies, Inc., DoorDash, Inc., or any rideshare or delivery platform. Their names are used only to identify the screens the product can read.

6. Intellectual property

The RideGrade name, logo, and site content are ours. Don't copy, resell, or misrepresent them.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideGrade and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost earnings, lost opportunities, platform deactivations, or decisions you make based on estimates shown by the product. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the app is to stop using it.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end access at any time. You can stop using RideGrade at any time by deleting the app and asking us to remove support data associated with you (support@ridegrade.app).

9. Governing law

Governing law is the law of the state where RideGrade is organized, excluding conflict-of-law rules. We have not named that state yet. It will be named in this section before these terms take effect.
